Please note: past participation does not guarantee acceptance. The ISU Women’s Holiday Fair is a juried event, and each year’s applications are reviewed with fresh eyes to ensure a dynamic, high-quality, and diverse market.
IS THIS A JURIED EVENT?

Yes, the ISU Women’s Holiday Fair is now a juried event. We know this is a shift from past years when vendor spots were filled on a first-come, first-served basis—but the fair continues to grow with only 50 spaces available, so does the demand for a more curated and balanced market experience.
Moving to a juried application process allows us to ensure a well-rounded mix of artistic mediums and maintain a high standard of quality and originality. Every application is carefully reviewed based on originality, craftsmanship, presentation, and overall market fit.
Acceptance is not guaranteed, even for returning vendors. We strive to keep the show fresh by welcoming at least 30% new vendors each year, while also making sure categories like jewelry, ceramics, fiber, painting, glass, and woodworking are fairly represented.
WHAT KIND OF VENDORS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

This is a juried event, meaning vendors are carefully selected based on the quality, uniqueness, and originality of their work. We welcome:
-
Artists
-
Makers
-
Designers
-
Crafters
-
Tradespeople
We prioritize handmade, original items. Factory-made, mass-produced, or imported goods will not be accepted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M ACCEPTED BUT CAN'T ATTEND

We understand that things come up, but please read our policy carefully:
Once accepted and paid, all booth fees are non-refundable.
If you cancel, your booth is forfeited and cannot be sold or transferred to another vendor.
We will fill canceled booths at our discretion from our waitlist.
If the event is canceled by ISU or due to an emergency, your booth fee will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

We can provide tables and chairs upon your request, but you are responsible for bringing everything else needed to design and complete your booth space. This includes any booth walls, shelving, signage, lighting, décor, and display structures. All elements must be freestanding and fit within your designated space. If you require electricity, you’ll also need to bring your own power cords and power strip.
Details about requesting tables, chairs, and power access will be included in the application.
IF I'M A PAST HOLIDAY FAIR VENDOR WILL I AUTOMATICALLY BE ACCEPTED?

We understand it may be disappointing to hear, but past participation does not guarantee automatic acceptance into the show. As the market grows and evolves, all vendors—returning or new—must reapply each year. Our jury looks for growth, originality, and fresh offerings to ensure the fair remains diverse, high-quality, and inspiring for both vendors and shoppers alike.
DO YOU TAKE A COMMISSION FROM MY SALES?

Yes. We collect 20% of all vendor sales during the fair. This commission is how we’re able to fund our annual scholarships for ISU students. Your participation directly supports the mission of the ISU Women’s Club to provide meaningful financial assistance—thank you for being part of it!
ANY TIPS FOR BEING ACCEPTED?

Yes! Here’s what our jury loves to see:
-
Clear, professional photos of your work and display
-
Unique, handmade goods that feel seasonal or giftable
-
Consistency and quality in your product presentation
-
A thoughtful, well-curated display
